    • September 2025 - June 2026

    • Eugene, Oregon

    • Master’s student in Advertising and Brand Responsibility at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, developing expertise in brand strategy, consumer research, and creative campaign development with an emphasis on culturally relevant, socially responsible marketing.

    • Created spec campaigns for Brooks Running and R.A.D Global grounded in an empathy-driven, people-first approach.

    • August 2021 - May 2025

    • Newport News, VA

    • I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Christopher Newport University, where I double majored in Leadership Studies and Communication Studies with a concentration in Media. My time at CNU shaped both my creative voice and my confidence as a communicator. Through critical media coursework, an alumni marketing independent study, and hands-on experience in social media and public relations, I developed a strong foundation in storytelling, strategy, and audience engagement.

    • Beyond the classroom, I immersed myself in leadership and campus life. I served as a Leadership Adventure Facilitator, studied abroad at Maastricht University, and contributed as a member of the President’s Leadership Program Student Advisory Board. As a student-athlete on the cross country and track teams, tour guide, and active campus leader, I learned how to balance high-performance environments while leading with empathy and energy.

    • My experience at CNU taught me to approach challenges with curiosity, creativity, and initiative.

    • It’s where I discovered my passion for branding and advertising, and where I built the foundation I continue to grow from today.

    • June-July 2023

    • Maastricht, NL

    • I took LDSP 380: Cross Cultural University at Maastricht University, a public research university in Maastricht, Netherlands.

    • Living and learning in a completely different cultural environment pushed me to think beyond my own perspective and pay closer attention to how people communicate, behave, and make meaning in different contexts.

    • That experience has shaped how I approach my work as a student in the University of Oregon’s Master’s in Advertising and Brand Responsibility program. It taught me that strategy isn’t one-size-fits-all, what resonates in one place might not in another.

    • Studying abroad made me more curious, more adaptable, and more aware of the responsibility brands have to understand the people they’re speaking to.
