In September, 2025 I started working at Crux Rock Gym + Cafe in Eugene, Oregon. Coming in during a time of new management, I offered up my Advertising skills and became not just a Front Desk Assistant and Barista, but also a Social Media Manager.
Below, I will share some of my favorite projects from a small attempt to add to the branding of the gym while full-time in grad school.
Seasonal Beverages
First, I proposed a seasonal drink menu and created a website to pitch drink recipes that I came up with and tested.
I created a sneak peak post for Instagram
Next, I created front-and-back limited edition menus to bring the idea to real life.
Queer Halloween
Crux Rock Gym is the first ever climbing gym built in Eugene, Oregon and I am happy to have pitched and planned the first ever queer event! A queer climb night in Eugene, Oregon matters because it gives queer climbers a space to show up fully as themselves, feel safe, and build community in the sport of climbing.
