By day I’m in ad school, running, climbing, and working as a coffee barista. By night I’m usually asleep. Before moving to Oregon, I ran social media accounts, helped plan corporate and university events, and got so overly involved on campus that I literally won an award for being overly involved. Keep scrolling to see why people say I’m always on the go.

I was part of the 2024 Women’s Leadership Summit Committee at Christopher Newport University, an annual leadership conference focused on empowering and connecting students. In past years, the Summit was known for its very pink, traditionally feminine branding, but I saw an opportunity to make it feel more inclusive and reflective of a broader audience.

I led the idea to shift the visual identity in a more gender-neutral direction and brought that to life by designing a new logo and building out a refreshed color palette. The goal was to keep the energy and purpose of the Summit, while modernizing the look to feel more welcoming, balanced, and representative of all attendees. This rebrand helped reposition the event without losing what made it meaningful.

Event Planning

I assisted in the planning process for the following significant events:

  • STIHL Inc. Company Picnic - Summer 2024

  • STIHL Inc. Employee Summit - Summer 2024

  • Department of Communication Homecoming Tailgate Tent - Fall 2024

  • Rico Francis Visit, Pacers Event - Fall 2024

  • Women’s Leadership Summit - Fall 2024

Writing

One of my favorite works was doing a textual analysis about queer representation in my favorite show Netflix’s Atypical (2017). This writing uses theoretical frameworks to study how well queer representation was done in the show.

I have always been a health and fitness guru. A climber, a yogi, a marathon runner, a track runner. I also am spin instructor certified. I used this account to post about my spin classes in 2025 and my CHAARG small groups that I would teach in 2023.
