Traveling matters so much to me because it genuinely changes the way my brain works. Every time I go somewhere new, I feel like I’m thinking differently, noticing more, and creating from a deeper place.
The culture shock is something I actually crave because it pushes me out of what’s familiar and makes everything feel new again. It forces me to stay curious and present.
I see traveling as a kind of medicine. It resets me, clears my head, and gives me energy I can’t really find anywhere else.
As a creative, I think that traveling is the best full brain workout, constantly taking in new sights, sounds, and ways of living, and turning that into ideas.
It It makes sense that I played a lot of Minecraft as a kid. I’ve always been a collector at heart. I keep train tickets, maps, and small pieces from everywhere I go, building them into my junk journal and turning them into art that lives on my walls.
